BPKS aims to ensure the equal rights, participation and access to opportunity for all people with disabilities in Bangladesh. To do this, BPKS aims to implement PSID in all 64 districts of the country.

To assist it in achieving its aims, BPKS developed a Strategic Plan in 2004. It was the first time BPKS had conducted such a planning exercise, and represented a new phase in the forward planning and management of the organization. The Strategic Plan was reviewed and updated in 2007 and now provides a framework and direction for organizational activities until 2016.
