The National Alliance of Disabled Peoples' Organizations (NADPO) is a national networking organization of Disabled Peoples' Organizations (DPOs) or assemblies of disabled people. NADPO was established in 2005 to promote the human rights of disabled people through the full participation, equalization of opportunities and up-lifting of DPOs across the country. It is a voluntary, non-political, non-profit, non-government organization and is the apex body of DPOs in Bangladesh.

BPKS is the founder and current President of NADPO.

Vision

To create an anti-discriminatory, equality-based state/society for all by eliminating all forms of discrimination against, as well as establishing the inalienable rights and dignity of, Persons With Disabilities (PWDs).

Goals

  1. To build dynamic and powerful Disabled Peoples' Organizations (DPOs).
  2. Participation of NADPO, along with its member organizations, in all national affairs, in order to implement and actualize national and international policies and plans.
  3. Attainment of the economic development of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in order to eradicate poverty.
  4. Standardize the education of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in order to build an educated nation.
  5. Safeguard the rights and security of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs).
